This gallery contains images taken throughout the 2019 Elections Community Awareness Roadshows across all of the JTG municipalities.

Weekend Classes Programme

This gallery showcases photographs of learners attending the weekend classes programmes across the JTG and Tsantsabane districts. All  JTG and Tsantsabane schools get support with extra classes that are offered to grade 12 learners only and the classes are held over the weekend. SIOC-CDT provides payment to the educators responsible for running the classes.

Sanitary Towels Project

This gallery contains visuals to showcase the Sanitary Towels project that runs in identified schools in the JTG, Tsantsabane and Thabazimbi municipalities. The goal of this project is to distribute sanitary towels to young women to help them attend school and perform at their best during their cycle.

Engagement with Government and Traditional Leaders​

Engagements with both Government and Traditional Leaders about SIOC-CDT programmes taking place in their areas and building robust relations with them as leaders of communities we operate in. These engagements include the solicitation of input on how programmes are executed and planned.

Back to School and Winter Uniform programme

This gallery contains visuals of school uniform handovers across all of the beneficiary municipalities. This programme is an extension of the original school shoes programme. It was evident that learners who can’t afford school shoes often can’t afford school uniforms and stationery. The primary aim of this programme is to provide school uniforms and stationery, annually, to selected schools.
